Pretty much the same thing happened over Autumn/Fall, Austin would autonomously clean up after himself ... sorta. Can't force a man to do these chores now can you?
Go around town questioning folks.
Go to the library to send in his reports.
Tag the library wall with his 'wall art'. Pretty much everything revolves around boosting up his street art skill levels and seeing just how many places... walls, floors around town he can tag. He's doing well, level 6. Hopefully he'll grow out of this fad sooner or later. Or the opportunities stop. Although he IS earning 1,000 Simoleans at a time for doing all of this. And his bank balance is rising quite sharply.
This TV sucks.
May I ask... why?
Reception is crappy, and there's nowhere to sit.
You could ....
I know, I know, I could 'wish' for some furniture. But as I said earlier, I've much bigger bolder things to wish for.
And those are (I dread to think what he wants next)???
A Bonehilda
That sounds fair enough. She can clean up after you.... oh and finally repair that shower that's been broken for the last two seasons!!
So I obliged, and without thinking, direct him to awake her. Oops. I instantly try to cancel the request, but it is too late. Out she emerges and immediately starts getting to work, cleaning the place completely.
YAY.
Or so I thought.
Oh .... yay ...
You'll soon find out why in later chapters.
I wish to go skating on a lake.
I think I can manage that one, I've seen a lake nearby you can visit.
So he gets a taxi there only to discover ...
Gah, it's not frozen over.
Oops sorry.
I can hear music.
Me too, want to investigate?
Yeah, okay.
So he stops to listen to the busker belting out Oogie Fever. Whoever he is. All we can see is a small amplifier stuck in a snowdrift.
Can you see him? Me neither. What's his name I wonder? Invisible Singer?
It's roaring through the seasons and now that it is Winter, Snow Day is coming up fast.
I wish I could have holiday lights.
Me too.
Wish granted!!
Ahh, that's so much better.
Just a little offshoot here. I'm deliberately making this challenge harder by not giving him any more furniture until he wishes for any. But it is failing since he hasn't rolled any wishes for the longest time. Guess I'd better add some stuff, but not just yet. Let him suffer a bit longer ROFL. I wish I knew who that was singing, but he was completely invisible bar the amplifier. I cancelled the skating on a frozen pond, only because the wish for Bonehilda was far greater. He also got a couple of promotions, filling his bank balance, his confidence and getting him further up the corporate ladder. He is now Lieutenant along with Shannon MacAnna. Whom you will see in the next update!!
As for Boney. Well..... you'll soon find out.

Chapter Thirteen - Once a Rebel ....
What are you doing?
Cleaning up.
*faints*
This is the first time he's actually autonomously cleaned up the dirty dishes.
Well, sorta. I think he picked up .... two plates and washed them. The rest are still scattered around the house, outside and in.
Um, NOW what are you doing?
Having a sponge bath.
Why?
Shower's broken.
Wish to fix it then.
Can't be bothered, got better things to wish for.
Like expanding your graffiti ...
Street Art!
.... graffiti around the town. You know you're making a name for yourself
Good!
And not in a good way either.
Don't care.
You should, you are in Law Enforcement, you should be making an example of yourself
Meh. Besides, it's Spooky Day, I've been invited to a party and I don't want to go there all stinky.
Ah okay. Whose house by the way?
Mason Sackholme, my boss.
And what are you going as?
Guess.
Ohhh, now that is VERY fitting indeedy!!!
Once a rebel huh?
Yup.
Whilst he was there, he interviewed a couple of people, then used their computer to write up his reports.
Before spray painting one of their walls!!
Yep, definitely a rebel.
He also took over someone else's cooking, but it had burned badly by the time he got there.
*grumble grumble shouldn't leave pans on the stove like that, could have started a fire ... grumble grumble*
He then decided to head off home, since his energy was hitting deep red, as was his plumbob!!
A couple of random folks turned up.
Hey kid, where's your trick or treat bowl?
Don't have one.
Well just go sod off then. No bucket, no treats, that's the rules.
And YOU. Didn't you burgle this house not so long back? You;ve got a cheek turning up like that....
Dunno what you're talking about.
Oh I've got my eye on you .....
But that's not what happened next.
Dark storm clouds were gathering and suddenly Austin stopped dead.
Get inside, you'll be struck by lightning if you don't.
Waiting.
Why?
I dunno.
BANG!!!!!!!
Told you.
Sorry about picture quality here, he should have had lightning sparkles all over his body but they didn't show up properly. Think I need a new graphics card or something.
I waited with bated breath, expecting old Grimmy to turn up and put my Wishacy and Austin out of his misery. But nope. Even though his energy was almost drained, he managed to survive goodness knows HOW many volts of electricity through his body!!!
So he lives to tell another tale!

Chapter Twelve - Zombies, Burglars, Reports and Incompetent Law Enforcers
After his lecture, Austin started reading the book he'd been given by his boss, when suddenly he got a chill running up his spine.
I got a chill up my spine.
I know, I just said that.
And for no good reason, he suddenly freaked out!!
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
I feel much better now!
What the hell????Ah, right, Full Moon. Zombie alert!
Sure enough, up popped a zombie, right behind him.
Baaack huuuuurt. Neeed, massaaaaage!!!!!
Um no. Thanks, but ... no.
So Austin took refuge in his bedroom (without any lighting) to read up on Whistling or whatever the title of that book was about. This also meant that now he'd been promoted, he needed to make some reports on folks in order to boost his job performance.
So he ended up visiting the art gallery to interview his first Sim.
After some careful negotiation and general chit chat, she was happy to spill the beans to him as he scribbled furiously. Apparently there'd been some 'vandal' roaming around the place, spreading graffiti around public properties!!!!!
Ahem *cough* *shifty eyes*
Austin was happy enough to add his own 'unique piece of artwork' to the exhibits shortly afterwards.
Since it had been a busy and exhausting day, he headed off to bed pretty early. But his sleep was disturbed by an unwelcome visitor.
BURGLAR!!!
Since he didn't have an alarm fitted, it was up to him to raise the alarm.
Is that the police? I've got an intruder in my house.
Why can't you deal with her? She's just a slip of a lass.
Hey, just calling for back-up that's all, don't want her getting away now do we?
Just sayin' that's all.
Whilst he was on the phone, she snatched .... his potions table!!!
Why?
Because it was there!!
You sneaky woman.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA
It was then that Austin took on this lightfingered intruder.
I say young lady, that's not your property
Bite me.
Hand it back and please reconsider your lifestyle choices
Get lost mister.
Okay, you asked for it you leave me no choice.
And won!!
Being the gentleman that he was, he apologised soon afterwards.
I'm sorry, I did warn you.
You busted my butt you creep.
Maybe you SHOULD reconsider your choice of career?
Just then the police arrived.
The same little snot that arrested Austin the other day for painting graffiti.
For some reason he lingered outside for the longest time.
Damn, dropped my camera, hang on, I'll be there in a minute. Gotta retrieve it from these thick shrubs.
She's in here officer! Austin yelled, trying to get his attention.
That was the opportunity she'd been waiting for and she made a clean getaway!!
Finally the young officer walked through the door.
I'm sorry sir ..... she got away.
WHAT?????
You didn't even give chase?
He beat ten tons of crap out of her, she could hardly walk and you let her get away????
Perhaps next time sonny, you'll concentrate on the REAL criminals instead of those creating petty crimes.
Grr, incompetency at it's worst!!

Chapter Eleven - Hunger Strike!
Austin?
Yes?
What are you doing?
Making mac and cheese, what does it look like?
You do realise that you have zero cooking skills?
And that's a problem because ....??
There's a good chance that you could BURN that meal, effectively ruining it and your palate at the same time.
That's true but I wasn't prepared to stand around waiting for YOU to feed me now, was I?
I was waiting for the negative moodlet first.
That's what they ALL say.
True enough, as soon as he got home, he headed straight for the fridge without my prompting him and started cooking!! The meal turned out fina actually, which surprised me, because 9 times out of 10 my Sims ALWAYS burn their first attempt at a meal!!
I'm currently loving this new approach to gamplay, as you never know WHAT a Sim might wish for next.
Austin's next wish?
Go on Hunger Strike!
You do realise that you've organised a Hunger Strike at the Town Hall now, don't you?
Yep, and that's why I'm having a meal now, to gather my strength - and endurance - for the long slog!
I guess there's some logic in that theory.
I also locked a wish of his to paint a wall mural, which he did (to boost himself up prior to the protest later on!!)
So, with soapbox and banners at hand, he set about his hunger strike!
Before he jumped on his soapbox, he tried handing out leaflets at the park.
With an impassioned speech ready, he belted out the rights and wrongs of wanting more Lifetime Wishes Points.
You KNOW we need them more than ever!
Hear hear!
We shouldn't have to slog our pixellated brains out to earn them!
I totally get you there. I am desperate to get to 50,000 Lifetime Points so that I can have a free day with you.
We don't WANT to be ruled by these SimGods and Goddesses any more
WHAT!?!?!?!
We want our RIGHTS and we WANT THEM NOW!!
Needless to say, it failed ... miserably.
Firstly, nobody turned up. Except a teenage kid who was more interested in doing her homework.
Secondly, Austin gave up and moved onto the community pool to start his wall art.
Thirdly, the police arrived to break it up..... considering there was nobody there at the time!!
He got arrested again.
Vandalizing public property with his wall art.
He'd barely even got his spray cans out this time.
Once again he was escorted home and given a fine and a lecture. By this young snip of a lad!
Oh I'll remember THAT cop. Can't remember his name, but yes, I'll remember him. Oh I will. And so will you, in a future update!!
