So, it was quite a shock to one poor explorer, when Sophie joined him at the breakfast table for her morning protein juice - in her undies! He almost choked on his soup, trying to avoid his gaze straying towards her semi naked flesh.
Sophie: So, you're off exploring huh?
Explorer: *wheeze*
Sophie: Yeah, us too. Any idea where half this stuff is?
She shoved the list in his face whilst he tried to compose himself. He shook his head, his face turning a puce colour.
Sophie: You okay? You don't look too good. Want me to .... oh!
She jumped up and slapped him on the back, realising that he was in distress. Satisfied that he wasn't about to keel over, she left Base Camp to join Drea, who'd already made a head start.
Wow, he's moving fast!
Drea: Well, I want to fit in as much as possible here and still have time to sightsee.
Good point.
Mind you, thanks to Sophie's wings, she was able to catch up within no time, just as Drea was climbing the grand steps at the Forbidden City.
Sophie: Mom said there was nothing of any value here. She'd already explored this tomb.
Drea: I heard that the crypts magically regenerate their valuables.
Sophie: That's nonsense.
Drea: No harm in trying.
So, with great reluctance, Sophie followed Drea into the cavernous tomb.
Sophie: Any luck yet?
Drea: Hang on, just looking.
Sophie: I'm telling you, we're wasting our time. Besides, I would really love to see the Terracotta Army.
Drea: Wait! Wait! Oh, hang on. Well, what do you know. There's a bag of gold coins in here.
Sophie: Perhaps the locals put them there as an offering? To appease their deities? Maybe it's not a good idea. Let's go.
Drea: That's superstitious nonsense, we may as well take them, they'll be useful.
Sophie: Drea, I'm telling you. Leave it be.
He shot her a glare before dismissing her with a wave of his hand. She flushed with indignation before stomping out.
Sophie: FINE! I'll make my way to the Army myself.
She left the tomb in quite a huff, speeding along at a furious pace. So much so that she arrived at the site of the Terracotta Army in no time. She gasped at the sheer beauty and magnificence.
Sophie: I wonder if I dare get any closer and touch them?
She decided not to touch them and respectfully kept a distance to marvel at these bronze statues, despite being wrongly labelled as Terracotta.
In the meantime, Drea had emerged from the tomb to take a water taxi up the mighty river. Sophie was quite put out when she saw the taxi speeding off, leaving her stranded on the riverside. Obviously they still needed to work out some issues.
Anyways, Drea and Sophie had agreed to meet up at the Dragon's Maw. But on arrival, try as they may, they couldn't gain access at all. The mysterious and elusive entrance, remained just that. Elusive and resolutely shut up tight. Keeping it's secrets well hidden. (sorry no pics)
Night had fallen rather quickly as they both headed towards their last destination. According to Shannon, legend had it that there were mummitorium rocks scattered near the ruins.
Try as they may, they just couldn't find them, and with the light fading fast, they had to abort that last task. Besides, there was something really creepy, staring out at them from the abandoned mine nearby. And neither of them fancied the idea of facing up to whatever it was that was lurking in there.
The moonlight cast a bright glow on Base Camp as the two of them wearily trailed up the steps. They hardly had any energy left for anything other than a bite to eat and discuss what had happened during the day.
Sophie: I'm sorry I snapped.
Drea: That's okay. Perhaps I should have listened a bit more, but I was so caught up in the adventure.
Sophie: I know. It's a shame that dragon thingy didn't work.
Drea: Yeah. Maybe it was feeding off our negative energy? That's why it refused to let us in.
Sophie: You might have a point there.
Drea: Well, it's been a great break away, despite the mix up and our difference of opinions.
Sophie: Yeah, I'll be glad to get back home.
Drea: Me too.
And then they headed off to bed and collapsed into a restful slumber.
And thus ends the adventures of Sophie and Drea.

A brief explanation as to why the continuity of this wishacy will be interrupted. I'd played everything here in these recent updates. Progressed really well. But then, without warning on a return home from Shang Simla, the inevitable happened. And right when I'd decided NOT to save my game.
It crashed, leaving me back to square one with only these screenshots to show that stuff actually DID happen in game. I could try and repeat the whole process, just to get the memories into my Sims. That's a decision I have to make on my own.
