Chapter Sixty Nine - They All Look The Same To Me.

Everyone had their own unique way of dealing with Austin's loss.

Shannon retreated to the hot tub to contemplate her future.

 
Sophie raked leaves until the sun went down. She was very reluctant to go home.

When she did, she took solace in her IF doll, cuddling it as if her life depended upon it.

Vanessa, still fairly young to understand all of this, decided to go for a joy ride!

Hannah took it badly, bursting into tears, the minute she came home from work. By now, Shannon was all cried out and numb.

Hannah also decided to strum a few mournful tunes on the last gift that Austin had given to her. A pink psychedelic guitar.

She also threw herself into working out at every given opportunity.

William, however, decided that he needed a shoulder to cry on and invited George over.

Throwing himself into George's arms and sobbing hysterically.

They got into the hot tub together, but William had to leave very quickly as his bladder couldn't wait any longer. That's when George made his excuses and went home too.

And then.....
.... this.....

Yep, those aliens are back, and this time their victim was ....

William!!!!

Hurtling kicking and screaming into the spaceship, he was whisked away.

He returned safely though, by none other than Crypto Vajjeyoo
Meh .... They all look the same to me.

Nevertheless, that encounter had a lasting impression on William.....

Chapter Forty One - How To Sabotage a Party ... Toddler Style

The day after William's birthday, it was Snow Day, and both Shannon and Austin rolled a wish to host a Gift Giving party. So I decided, it was time for Shannon to hit the spotlight, so she organised the party.

Because of all the toddler//skilling stuff they'd purchased for William, it was quite cramped and there wasn't any space to place the presents pile, so I decided to revamp the house a little and add on an annex where William could play/sleep etc.

 

William looks as though he's really enjoying his toys and stuff.

And the xylophone. Although he wasn't all that excited about that little toy.

Shannon decided to roll a wish to potty train William, but stopped midway, to roll into her maternity clothing.
That meant Austin taking over ... to 'attack with the claw'.

Too cute.

Anyhow, time ticked onwards and the party was coming up pretty soon. So, to make sure that William didn't disturb the celebrations, Austin took him to his crib.

However, William wasn't having it.

Hungry!
Bedtime.
HUNGREEEEE!!!
Bed-time. No excuses!!
HUNGREEEE!!!!

He screamed blue murder, causing all the guests to tut at poor Austin, trying his hardest to keep the young un quiet.

Come on son, you are tired. Now get some sleep.
Story.
Not now.
Story.
No, I need to go pee.
Story.
You are not going to win this one.
STOREEEEEEE!!!

Yeah, Austin wished to read William a bedtime story, but it was cancelled out because of Austin's dire need to go pee. William's energy needs were deep red, and his hunger was orange. It was one or the other.
In this case, there was also a third option.
Austin really REALLY needed to go to the bathroom. But William was yelling his lungs out.

Oh come on kid, I REALLY need to go, it's hurting!
HUNGREEEE!!!!
Holy crap kid, you are LOUD!!

Sadly, the battle of wills only had one winner.
Austin's bladder ... well, it gave up the ghost and he peed himself!!

Oh .... crap!!
There wasn't time for him to take a quick shower, so he sat as far away from everyone just so that they didn't inhale his stinky odour. Only Crypto sat with him, claiming that he couldn't smell anything since he'd caught a 'human cold'.

Meanwhile, back in the nursery, William wasn't giving up without a fight and even though he was close to exhaustion, he STILL screamed the place down!!

The party was in full swing, people dancing, Shannon doing a trivia quiz with the babysitter.

Apart from William in his attempt to sabotage the party and get all the attention for himself, it was quite a fun event for everyone!!!!

Shannon farted hearts for one of the guests.....
... I'll put that down to her hormones being a bit skewed!!!

Oh and I've discovered that William has himself an IF (imaginary friend) doll, called Peanut.

Chapter Forty - A Double Celebration

Austin was organising a birthday party for William, hence the phone call. Perhaps a gathering of all their friends would cheer Shannon up somehow.

He went to work, in the worst blizzards that Dragon Valley had ever known, and came home to tell us all the good news. He'd just reached his Lifetime Wish.

From now on, he is to be known as Austin Powers International Super Spy..... has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Nice suit by the way!!

He needed to recharge his batteries before the celebrations, and took a nap on the settee, just as the guests were arriving!!!

During the celebrations, Shannon vanished upstairs.
Now we know why she's been moody lately.
She's pregnant again!!!
Either that, or she's been eating rotten leftovers from the fridge once more!!!

Looks as though one of our guests is looking a little worried.

And for good reason too.
It appears that someone else is trying the old 'shove a plate through the torso' act.

Austin collected William from his crib and brought him downstairs to help blow out the candles, whilst everyone gathered.

Crypto preferred to commandeer the settee for a little brain regeneration!

With a sprinkle and a POOF!! Gone goes the cocoon baby, and here comes little toddler William.

Altogether now....

He's got his dad's dark eyes and skintone, but the rest of him is all Shannon's. From the pink fairy wings to the facial features.

Oh by the way, it just so happened to be a Full Moon. So this party ended up with a few zombies enjoying the festivities at the same time!!!
