Chapter Fifty One - I've Broken The Servo

It's William's birthday. I'd have picked out a cake and thrown a party, but it is too late. So there he is, bless him, transitioning into a child.

Wow, he looks like his mum Shannon. Handsome laddie! Got his dad's dark eyes though.

Because I apparently 'did so well' in bringing him up, I got to choose a trait. So I opted for the Neat trait, in the hopes that he'll do something about the dirty plates and laundry that are scattered around the place. Something that Bonehilda totally fails to notice as she hovers over cribs and reads books.

Um, lederhosen? I don't think so. It's off to CAS I go to put him into something a little more .... stylish.

In the meantime, I redecorated his old nursery upstairs into something a little more of his taste. Since his favourite colour is Seafoam, it's only fair that I give his room a more watery theme.

Whilst I was occupied elsewhere, he whipped out Peanut, his IF toy and started to play with him. Funny really, Hannah didn't get one, I checked the mail, just to see!

Hello Peanut, my bestest friend in the whole wide world.

Aww so sweet.

Anyways, whilst I was distracted, Shannon, exhausted to the point of collapse, suddenly stops what she is doing - getting into bed to sleep - to stand there for a good 2.5 hours (I know I counted).

Something on your mind Shannon?
Can't sleep .... must do something....
Do what?
Don't know. Got a funny feeling, that's all.
Ah right.

And then POP! She suddenly spins into her maternity wear.

THAT'S what I was supposed to do!

I swear, I never heard the baby chimes from the last woohoo! So this comes as a great surprise.

Downstairs, deep downstairs, because there was a load of cash in the coffers, I decided to build a dungeon ... whoops, a basement. There I managed to fit in a few items that couldn't fit into any of the other rooms, giving me the chance to rearrange some items, and keep these ones protected from the elements.

This will be the last time you see Boney. I believe, if memory serves me well, I deactivated her in the hopes that William takes over the chores. I put the bar into the family inventory for safe keeping, then decided it would be better in the basement. Sadly Boney has discovered it once more.

And this is where things went a little ....
.... um ....
.... badly wrong.

I installed the all in one shower/toilet facility in the basement and sent Blaine in there to 'void his oily circuitry'. I forgot that not only does it act as a toilet, he gets a shower too!

He staggers out of the unit, sparks flying everywhere.

And promptly shuts down.

Oops. I guess I've broken the servo!

My bad.

Chapter Fifty - Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better

Toddler spam.

Hannah proved to be quite a handful, and she was exhausting too, as Shannon soon discovered.
She'd fuss over her daughter, put her to bed, then pass out cold on the floor with sheer exhaustion.

Austin tried to help out too.

You know, it'd be better if I actually retired!
Sorry, there wasn't any more room to lock that wish Austin, so I guess unless you actually wish it again, you are stuck in your job.

The same couldn't be said about Blaine. The minute he put out his first fire, he rolled a wish to change jobs.
O-kay, wait until you achieve your own LTW and THEN you can choose another career. Until then, you too are stuck with fighting fires. A noble cause if ever there was one!

Anyways, back to Hannah. Both Austin and Shannon rolled wishes to teach her to walk and talk, so they took it in turns.

Austin for the talking bit.

Shannon for the walking part.

Just the potty training to go now!
William wasn't happy that his little sister was getting more attention, so he kicked off!

But it seems that Hannah is starting to copy William.
The minute he tested his large fairy wings and hovered, so did she!!

Anything you can do, I can do better!!
Meh who cares, I'm tired need sleepies.
Gotta love toddlers, even though they are quite a handful and demand attention constantly!!

Chapter Forty Nine - Coitus Interruptus - Almost (Yeah, You Read That Correctly)

We need another baby.
Austin blinked and almost choked on his slice of cake.

It had literally only been seconds after Hannah's transition, they're busy tucking into the birthday cake and Shannon drops that clanger onto him.

Yeah, sure. Same place?
No, somewhere different.
Any ideas?
How about the treehouse? That's how we got William.

I'm not really sure to be honest, I can't keep track of where they WooHoo nowadays and which method is proving the most successful in getting her pregnant. So I'll just go along with the flow for now.

Lets wait until we've finshed our cake shall we?

HUNGRY!

Oh hang on, Hannah's hungry. Shall I feed her on the floor or put her in the high chair
Up to you baby.
High chair it is.

So, Shannon plonks Hannah in the high chair and is just about to serve her some food when Austin accosts her.

Shall we get busy?
HUNGRY!!!!

There's still .....
smoooaches
HUNGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
... oh never mind, lets head for the treehouse.

By now, Hannah is frustrated to hell. She's hungry, tired, and she wants attention...
.... NOW!!

There was a cute pic of Hannah, but Boney decided to photo bomb the pic and spoil it.
Thanks Boney.

No pics of Austin and Shannon getting busy in the treehouse. When you've seen it once, you've seen it too many times and it gets a bit boring after a while.

It was Blaine to the rescue instead. Although I am a little concerned about Blaine dripping oil into the baby food like that. I'm not sure if that's a healthy thing really.

And then it was cuddle/snuggle time.

Funny little thing isn't she?
Yes Blaine, she is.

Chapter Forty Eight - Hannah Grows Up

Back home, to the busy suburban family life. Better than Al Sim Hara Austin?
Meh.
Interesting. For a man of many words, he has very few to offer us today.
Change of topic.
Nice suit Austin. (I'm guessing this is is outfit of choice now that he's an International Super Spy), off to work?
Meh

Sorry I didn't lock your wish to retire, but all your wishes were full up and you weren't progressing any further with any of them until you wished to travel.

It was Blaine's first day at work too. The fire station was noticeably empty of staff, so he  was just about to upgrade the fire alarm when it went off.

It is making a funny noise.

That's signalling an emergency.

What do I do there is nobody else around.

Hop into the fire engine, drive to the source of the emergency and put out the fire.

Am I allowed to drive the engine?

Sheesh, I don't know, I've never dealt with a Simbot that wanted to be a Fire Fighter before. Just try it.

And so he rushed off, sirens wailing, to deal with his first emergency. A small house fire.
It should have been a piece of cake. However, it seems that one of his supposed work colleagues, decided to get in his way, stomping and yelling, so Blaine was stuck, whilst this small fire went from a Category A - within an hour or two, to a Category B emergency .... 3 hours maybe 4. I had to reset him and send him back there, where it was almost a repeat of the same situation. I had to reroute him to a spot on the lawn then onto putting out the flames.

Even so, he still got a boost up his career for what they call his 'quick thinking in an emergency'. Yeah, riiiight.
He went back to the station, to park his iron butt at the desk and sit chatting to someone - not a clue who though, until his shift ended.

Meanwhile, back home, here's a great glitch for you. William caught in mid transition, just before he turned into a micro fairy and headed off to the fairy castle outside.

Hannah was getting a lot of attention. Austin thought the world of her - and William too.

Even though she was a squally little kid, causing no end of frustration for both Austin and Shannon. So it was no surprise that Shannon felt a wash of relief when it came up to Hannah's birthday. I could have naturally let her transition without the cake, but I thought it would be interesting to see what happens.

Austin's Inappropriate trait kicked in as he mocked Hannah's birthday celebrations.
That's your daughter Austin.
She can't blow out the candles!!
Nevertheless ....
Nah boo!!

They ignored him. As did I.

And so she grew up into a sad faced little toddler. Cute, but just look at that face on her.... bless. She looks a lot like Austin there.

I just love her cute little butterfly wings!!!

Chapter Forty Seven - A Travelling We Shall Go Part Two

Since Austin had completed both opportunities within a day, he had time to kill. So he decided to have a bit of a wander around the place, meet and greet people and spend a couple of uncomfortable nights in a tent at Base Camp.

This didn't stop him getting up to his old antics though.

DOWN WITH VAMPIRES!

Austin? Whatcha doing?

Protesting.
About what?
Supernaturals.... DOWN WITH FAIRIES!!!

That. Is. Your. Wife. You are talking about. You'd better hope that Shannon doesn't get wind of this protest or there'll be hell to pay!

Yep, I left him alone for five minutes and this is what he does!!

He got bored with that, and decided to play games on his tablet.

He was stinky, there was a shower nearby.
But what did he do?
Yep, a sponge bath.

Oookay.

As he gets along just fine with some of the locals, the usual gossiping etc.

He also discovered that not everyone likes him.

What do you mean my kids are disgusting?
This Sim Dislikes Children.

However, she was like a magnet. He was determined to befriend her if it killed him, so he pursued her in other ways.....

.... like pillow fighting.

However, as the day drew on, Austin started feeling hungry. He didn't fancy anything that was in the fridge. So he decided to grill some food on the fire pit.

Sausages .... and cabbage??? Or is that lettuce????

That's quite a mouthful there Austin, sure you can manage that?

Nom nom nom nom.
