Chapter Fifty Five - Birthdays and Tantrums

William kept forgetting about his beloved Peanut. Which makes me think that he is growing up fast. Too fast actually. So much so that he has already chosen his Lifetime Wish.

World Reknowned Surgeon. WOW.

Later on he rolled another one,  I think it was Pop Legend but this one had already been locked and loaded. So there is no going back. He loves looking after his little sister Hannah though, making sure that she gets a bottle at least before he heads off to school

It was around this time that both the twins' birthdays arrived. And what do you know, everyone heads off to work/school etc. leaving Shannon alone to deal with this double celebration. All alone.

Firstly, Sophie.

Although she was hungry and stinky from pooping herself, she and Hannah enjoyed each other's company at the doll house.

Me poky in eye!

Austin arrived home, just in time to witness Vanessa's birthday transition. Sophie's grumblings and whatnot not even making a dint in the celebrations.

Oh my! Time for a makeover I think. We can't have a balding toddler wandering around!!!

Sadly, because all three toddlers' needs were verging on critical - or fairly close, they all started yelling and screaming.

That's when Shannon snapped, and she started yelling and screaming.

I can't stand all this. That's why I went away, just to get away from all this!!
They're only toddlers sweetie, they're only wanting attention.
Yeah well, you push something like that from your body and try to look after it 24/7 with very little sleep.
Um, dearie, I have ..... sorta. Just omit the giving birth part, I'm doing my fair share of the work you know.

Shannon then stomps off to cool down and get some well earned rest in the fairy house.
Which meant that none of the toddlers were allowed anywhere near her until she cooled down.

Blaine was smart. He spent all day and night at the fire station, where the fire alarms were giving out false emergencies (seriously, the alarm would go off, then cancel itself out)

William, however, wisely stayed away, doing his homework outside in the rain, before heading indoors and straight to bed.

Speaking of. Poor Vanessa, desperate to get  any attention, and not succeeding, she finally passed out cold on the floor. Completely and utterly exhausted. Poor kid.

Hopefully things will get better for all of them pretty soon.
