Because the girls are now children, it seemed a bit daft keeping the
cribs in their room, so I decided to give William a much more
appropriate set of furnishings for his room, and simply handed over the
castle bunk beds to the girls.
And if you are counting and still think there's no room, let's get the maths right here. An Elder Sim, a YA fairy Sim, a Teen fairy Sim, 2 Child Fairy Sims, 1 Child Sim and a Simbot..... A double bed, a set of bunk beds and a loft bed. Oh and don't forget the fancy sleep chamber in the basement, the fairy house/castle and the treehouse. More than enough room for everybody to sleep!!
Hannah, after going to her 'badging ceremony', decided to age up, there and then, giving her a little longer time towards her curfew. Because of her LTW, I chose Virtuoso in the hopes that she'll pick up some instruments and start learning new songs etc.
Once again, I didn't change anything about Hannah, hair, clothes etc. Since I thought she suited that style anyhow.
Blaine is defective. He keeps breaking down.
Once in the lounge, whilst everybody walked past him, ignoring him completely. (I think it's that 'new skin' he's sporting)
the last time in the twins' bedroom..... at night.... when the girls are fast asleep.
Bonehilda, being the 'helpful' non-soul that she is, decided to fix him, so she pulled out a screwdriver and started poking around the 'bolts' in his neck.
Next thing we know, there's a boom, Bonehilda is zapped to oblivion ....
..... and Blaine is on fire!!
With the girls STILL IN BED!!!
WTF????? I thought firemen, especially Simbots, were flameproof!!!
Sophie scrambled out of bed, but poor Vanessa was stuck. Lucky for her, she managed (I don't know how) to climb out of the top bunk, go THROUGH the adjoining wall in the lounge/living room, and run straight back into their bedroom to stand yelling and screaming at the inferno.
Finally, between them, Hannah (now she's old enough to handle a fire extinguisher) and Shannon, they managed to put the inferno out. Which didn't help Blaine much, since the smallest drop of water would easily short out his circuits. (I'll be sooo glad to get my hands on Into the Future, just so that I can upgrade this piece of junk iron - or delete him completely)
However, that left Bonehilda - now singed to a crisp and unable to go shower herself - virtually unplayable as she stood sentry in front of the fridge, stopping everybody from eating. I tried the 'dismiss Bonehilda' action with almost everyone, but it kept cancelling out. So she was removed completely. Which was no great big loss to me, but she was missed by at least one family member. Namely Sophie who wished to have a Bonehilda.
Um, no.
Anyways, after that incident, everyone settled down somewhat. It was a weekend so they all caught up with their homework, had a bite to eat - and reminisce about the 'great fire'.
