Chapter Eleven - Hunger Strike!

Austin?
Yes?
What are you doing?
Making mac and cheese, what does it look like?
You do realise that you have zero cooking skills?
And that's a problem because ....??
There's a good chance that you could BURN that meal, effectively ruining it and your palate at the same time.
That's true but I wasn't prepared to stand around waiting for YOU to feed me now, was I?
I was waiting for the negative moodlet first.
That's what they ALL say.

True enough, as soon as he got home, he headed straight for the fridge without my prompting him and started cooking!! The meal turned out fina actually, which surprised me, because 9 times out of 10 my Sims ALWAYS burn their first attempt at a meal!!

I'm currently loving this new approach to gamplay, as you never know WHAT a Sim might wish for next.
Austin's next wish?

Go on Hunger Strike!

You do realise that you've  organised a Hunger Strike at the Town Hall now, don't you?

Yep, and that's why I'm having a meal now, to gather my strength - and endurance - for the long slog!
I guess there's some logic in that theory.

I also locked a wish of his to paint a wall mural, which he did (to boost himself up prior to the protest later on!!)

So, with soapbox and banners at hand, he set about his hunger strike!

Before he jumped on his soapbox, he tried handing out leaflets at the park.

With an impassioned speech ready, he belted out the rights and wrongs of wanting more Lifetime Wishes Points.

You KNOW we need them more than ever!
Hear hear!
We shouldn't have to slog our pixellated brains out to earn them!
I totally get you there. I am desperate to get to 50,000 Lifetime Points so that I can have a free day with you.
We don't WANT to be ruled by these SimGods and Goddesses any more
WHAT!?!?!?!
We want our RIGHTS and we WANT THEM NOW!!

Needless to say, it failed ... miserably.

Firstly, nobody turned up. Except a teenage kid who was more interested in doing her homework.
Secondly, Austin gave up and moved onto the community pool to start his wall art.
Thirdly, the police arrived to break it up..... considering there was nobody there at the time!!

He got arrested again.
Vandalizing public property with his wall art.

He'd barely even got his spray cans out this time.

Once again he was escorted home and given a fine and a lecture. By this young snip of a lad!
Oh I'll remember THAT cop. Can't remember his name, but yes, I'll remember him. Oh I will. And so will you, in a future update!!
